The link between WASH and nutrition

Since 1998 CNP/Kore Timoun has been involved in projects that increase equitable and sustainable access to, and use of, safe water and basic sanitation services, and education that promotes improved hygiene (also called WASH). 

WASH activities can have an enormous effect on malnutrition in Haiti, where less than 50 percent of households have access to safe water and only 25 percent benefit from adequate sanitation. CNP/Kore Timoun has assisted communities in latrine and water catchment projects as well as finding sustainable clean water solutions.
