A Disaster on Top of Crisis

Hurricane Melissa struck southern Haiti with devastating force. Flooding and landslides have destroyed homes, contaminated wells, and cut off entire villages from aid. With an already fragile infrastructure, the impact has been catastrophic — dozens have died, many more are missing, and thousands have been displaced.

For 28 years, the Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti has worked in these same communities. Over 90% of our team lives and works in Haiti — meaning we can act fast. We’re delivering emergency nutrition, clean water, and medical support in coordination with local hospitals and clinics.

100% of funds raised during this crisis will go directly to Haiti — no admin fees, no overhead. Your gift will help us provide lifesaving food, water, and medical care to the families hit hardest by Hurricane Melissa.

How to Help

CNP is seeking to raise $75,000 immediately to sustain and scale its life-saving response in southern Haiti. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps families access the care and resources they urgently need.

  • $75 provides a hygiene and water chlorination system to help families protect themselves from waterborne disease.

  • $250 equips a local clinic to treat 15 malnourished children for one week.

  • $1,000 trains and supports community health workers to expand outreach and deliver life-saving care where it’s needed most.

We’ve Been Here for 28 Years

When disaster strikes, CNP is already on the ground. From the 2010 earthquake to the 2023 floods, our Haitian-led team has provided consistent care and support to families in crisis. We’re trusted by local hospitals, churches, and schools — and we stay long after the cameras leave.
