Living Water's Haiti water well rehabilitation project update. Very interesting report from Jack Vaughn explaining how he was able to use the Internet and phone (a "virtual" mission trip) to assist two workers in the repair of three wells in the three villages of Guerin, Singe and Michel II. July 22 - August 12, 2005

January 7, 2005
On January 7th, Program Director Cathy Dorvil returned to the U. S. following the death of her husband, Joseph. She is now working in the Chattanooga office as the CNP interim Executive Director and travels to Haiti part-time to supervise programs there until a full-time director is hired this fall.

A group of thirteen had an excellent trip to Leogane, staying in the guest
house at Hopital St. Croix. We held clinics in four remote villages. There
was no problem with security at the airport, or in travel to Leogane from
Port au Prince. We never felt threatened, only heartfelt welcome from
The clinics were busy, about 200 patients per day, seen by 3 doctors and a
dentist. Malaria, malnutrition, scabies, hypertension, GERD, and assorted
acute infections and skin problems were the most frequent problems. We all
came home well, energized with our experience and ready to plan our next
