Haiti Mobile Clinics - November 2004
Mobile Medical Team   11/13/04   -   11/20/04
Rivermont Presbyterian Church

A group of thirteen had an excellent trip to Leogane, staying in the guest
house at Hopital St. Croix.  We held clinics in four remote villages.  There
was no problem with security at the airport, or in travel to Leogane from
Port au Prince.  We never felt threatened, only heartfelt welcome from
everyone.

The clinics were busy, about 200 patients per day, seen by 3 doctors and a
dentist.  Malaria, malnutrition, scabies, hypertension, GERD, and assorted
acute infections and skin problems were the most frequent problems. We all
came home well, energized  with our experience and ready to plan our next
trip!   E-mail for additional details:   csternbergh@comcast.net.
